The ancient cooking was an art carried out by people in their backyards under the open sky using Fire of wood and earthen ware vessels. The competition involves cooking one pot dish using their own ingredients. The cooking vessel, charcoal, Chopping board, working table and stirring equipment will be provided to the competitors along with the cooking pits. 


  • Maximum 2 members are allowed in a team. A solo can't participate in event.
  • The participants will only be provided with Oil, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, mustard seeds and cumin seeds.
  • The major ingredients of the dish have to be brought by the competitors as per their requirements.
  • The competitors have to start their own fire. 
  • The presentation of the dish has to be done in the same vessel in which the cooking has been done.
  • No extra vessels can be used for cooking or presentation.
  • 3 hours will be given to all participants
